This bungalow is a perfect country getaway with the convenience of being near historic Harrogate with its fascinating tourist attractions. It's a great base to explore Harrogate, Leeds, York and the beautiful surrounding countryside and charming villages.

The interior of the bungalow has been professionally interior designed and the refurbishment has just been completed, with style and space to spare. There are fabulous antiques, comfortable seats, stylish pictures and luxurious soft furnishings in every room.

The kitchen breakfast room is fully fitted with fabulous range cooker, and charming antique table and chairs.There is a separate utility area just next to the garage with laundry facilities, freezer, microwave and additional sink

The open plan living dining room is hugely spacious and very comfortable, with a long refectory table in the dining area and bags of comfy seating in the living area. There is a working gas coal fire, a TV, DVD player, and lots of books and games. French doors open out onto the front garden.

There is sleeping accommodation for up to seven people. There are two big double bedrooms, one with chic en-suite shower room, and one that can be made up as either a twin or double according to your preference. Both have French doors that open out onto the back garden. The third bedroom is a good sized single. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room. The beds are all made up with freshly pressed linens.

The house bathroom is stylish and comprises a shower and bath. There is a separate WC with washbasin. Towels are provided for each guest.

The garden is beautiful with mature trees, lots of lawn and a trickle of a stream at its foot, perfect for enjoying lazy dinners on the patio, or soaking up the summer sun.

Pannal is a small, charming village on the south side of Harrogate, it’s a small community with a local pub, post office, train station, church and duck pond.

Harrogate is just a short drive or train journey away, this famous spa town has a conference centre and attracts a huge number of visitors every year, regular attractions include The Great Yorkshire Show and Harrogate Flower Show, have a look at www.enjoyharrogate.com for comprehensive listings of events and tourist attractions.

Harrogate has stylish shops and a multitude of restaurants and bars, plus an excellent theatre and concert hall, and of course, the famous Betty’s tearooms.

Both Leeds and York are directly accessible by rail from Pannal, and both are exciting places to explore, Leeds is a busy modern metropolis with fabulous shopping while York is a fascinating historic city with beautiful minster and charming cobbled streets.

The Yorkshire countryside is famed for its beauty and it is a fantastic area for walking, the North Yorkshire and Ilkley Moors are both not far. There are too many stately homes and sites of interest to list them all here, but for a taster, Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey, Harlow Carr RHS Gardens, Bolton Abbey, Knaresborough, Skipton, Saltaire, are all within easy driving distance.

If visiting by car, Pannal is just off the A61 between Harrogate and Leeds, and is easily accessible from the A1 or M1 motorways.

Pannal is on the rail line between Leeds (25mins) and York (40mins), which also stops at Harrogate. Both York and Leeds have excellent rail connections to London, from York you can travel north to Scotland, and from Leeds, further West towards Manchester and Liverpool.

Leeds Bradford is the nearest airport, and flies to over 70 national and international destinations, providers include BMI, Jet2, Ryanair and KLM.

There are ferry ports at Hull, Newcastle and Liverpool.
